I need new rugs!

How often do you change your rugs in the kitchen?

I bought some great rugs from Kohl's about... 6 years ago!  After 3 moves and a bunch of washes, the backs have come off and they are faded.

So, my husband is taking me out to eat tonight.  We will be going to Apple Bees AND he is going to suffer joyfully take me to find some rugs.  His idea!  Really!  Ok, I slipped on my junk rugs and almost broke my neck.
