I've met a lot of new people lately. That in itself is a blessing! Some of them are the laid back type and some of them were instant sisters! You know the ones... they say things like, "I just have to give you a big hug!" (I love that type.) Some of the people were hurting so badly that a simple prayer brought them to tears. Yet, other people were wound tight!
I really felt sorry for the tight ones. Their lives are a hurried mess, all good stuff of course, but they are tired. You can see it in their eyes. In a hurry, tired, and absolutely no passion. I'm sure they HAVE passion for something, but because of the fast paced lifestyle that they
Tight smiles, tight muscles, tight schedules, tight personalities...
I want to encourage you, to examine your life. Are you wound up tight? When people meet you are they welcomed with a warm personality, smile, or hug? Or are they put off by a wound up lifestyle that overflows into your greeting?
Just because something is good, doesn't mean that you have to do it! Make time for yourself, time to relax. That is why God made the "Sabbath." He knew it was important to take a WHOLE day and focus on Him, with Him.
