My husband does family devotions with our kids most mornings. In the evening, about 10 minutes before bed, we often have family meetings. A few times a week, we sit down together and discuss things that are going on like events, what was their favorite thing they did that day, holidays coming up, cool things about God and sometimes important details of our lives.
Family meetings only have to take a few minutes. It shows the kids that we are a unit and it helps them voice their concerns and opinions about things. We connect as we grow together.

Hi gal...I just saw your comments on the lounge page. Yes, it's been a long time since I've blogged, but it's been an interesting summer and really didn't feel up to sharing this summer. I "log blogged" tonight. Check it out. Hope all is well there.
