Regrets start to surface. She stuffs them back down...down...they've already caused enough pain.
Then her mind races forward to the last couple of years. The tears...they start to flow. She knows he doesn't have God. She knows he is choosing drugs. She knows he is choosing... making his own decisions and it breaks her heart.
He is choosing... he knows what is available to him. He's heard it all before.
Mamma! Don't give up!
What does the Word say to do? What does God say to do in times of difficulty? What does He say to do when your heart is breaking? What does He say to do when you you've used all of the words you have and the situation still didn't change?
I am going to give you an RX. That's right! A prescription straight from the mouth of God.
"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
No matter what it looks like, don't doubt God!
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Quit speaking what is and start speaking what is to come. Don't call him a druggie. Don't say he is a hopeless case. Speak life over the situation. Speak hope. Say only what God says. Tell him how wonderful God is. Tell him about the power of God! Show him the "blessing of the Lord." Pray, believing.
Brag on God!
