It seems that no matter where God has us, in a trial time or blessing time, He continues to bless us Spiritually. I am soooo thankful for that. We have been growing by leaps and bounds over the past 3 years especially. Most of that time, we've been in trial mode!
My heart is swelling! ~ No, not physically.
My husband is the pastor of _______ Church. He preaches and I lead worship there. That is where we pour ourselves out in ministry. On Wednesdays and some Saturdays, we attend church at another church not too far away. God has spoken to us there, we worship there, and it is just another extension of what we've done all week. We are thankful to be able to "go to church" and worship together as a family. When given the option, both of our children choose to go to church because they see the results of what God does when you give Him your all and THEY WANT IT!
This other pastor has been talking about the Rapture of the Church. Double Espresso (11) has been quite moved during these sermons. Thursday night, we were all watching TV together and my husband went into the kitchen to make popcorn.
DE looked at me and asked,
"Mom, what if you can't remember when you got saved?"
I told him that he better go talk to his Dad.
(I am the one who teaches them all day long and thought that Dad could handle this one!)
He did, and his Dad asked him some questions and DE decided to make sure he was born again. Right there in the kitchen he broke down over his sin and cried out to God (literally). He also decided that he'd like to be re-baptized so he will be doing that soon.
How precious! God has moved miraculously in this little boy's life. He has a huge plan for DE. I can't wait to see what is waiting for him!
My heart is swelling with the Spirit of God!

God is so good. How precious and special when our little children open their hearts to God. Childlike faith is so wonderful, you wish it was possible to capture those one-of-a-kind moments. Make sure to take note of the date so he'll know for sure now. I have a good friend who celebrates her children's spiritual birthdays every year.
Praise be to God! That blesses my heart!
Shana Tova! (Rosh Hashanah blessing-but you probably know that!)
