A Little Update On the House Situation
There is plenty to boast about in the Lord... I don't know... just thinkin. I probably shouldn't do that!
We are going to look at a place but I just don't have that peace feeling about the location. Some of the other ones I have but they fell through or weren't a stable enough lease.
Thanking God Today
I am thankful for:
my awesome husband
the boys and their individuality
my vacuum
a safe trip
beautiful scenery
pets
my Hebrew roots
Yeshua
the ability to learn
the desire to learn
Spiritual gifts and the manifestation of them
the home we will have (SOON)
the crafts that I will be able to do
the children our God is going to bless us with

Wonderful Week (and a little excitement)
Espresso got to shoot a gun and go hunting. They didn't get anything but he got to use his own deer stand and be dressed in camo ~ head to toe! Double Espresso got to shoot a bow at targets and play with his little, adorable cousins. They had a blast!
You know, trouble and exciting times just seem to follow us! Thursday night we went to bed in the "Prophet's Chambers" at my Uncle's church. It really is nice staying out there but this night I woke up 3 times in about 3 hours. The fourth time I woke up is what started the excitement.
About 3 AM we heard 6 gun shots all in a row. It sounded like it was right outside the window but very well could have been down the road several hundred feet. We got up and looked around but didn't see anything. We prayed (because I was frightened) and laid back down for sleep.
About 3 minutes later, we saw headlights come in through the window. Two vehicles had pulled up into the church parking lot. One guy got out of his vehicle and got into the other one. (All four guys had the typical gang banger look.) We didn't know what to do. After a minute, they all drove away in one vehicle.
I called my uncle; turned out that they had heard the shots too. My uncle called the police and in a few minutes were there. They said that there had already been 3 shootings that night right down the street.
We had decided to go ahead and pack to leave since we were going to leave around lunch that day anyway. I wasn't going to stay out there and once we woke up the kids to go to my aunt and uncle's house, they wouldn't have gone back to sleep.
We were packed in about 15 minutes and out the door we went! I felt so bad leaving in the middle of the night like that but I knew we would be too tired for the drive home if we didn't. Turns out that the car that they left there had New York licence plates and is STILL there! Hmmm...

A Cool Story

I was at church (our first church) and was greeting parents that were coming in to pick up kids. This old man (70's) whom I did not know walked in to pick up his grandson.
He saw a brace on my wrist that I was wearing that evening and approached me. He asked why I had it on and I told him that I had tendinitis in the wrist and it was hurting.
He proceeded to ask if I believed that Jesus could heal my wrist. I said, "Yes! I do!" He said, "Be healed in Jesus name. Do you accept that healing?" I said, "Absolutely!"
This was the first time anyone had ever done that to me. I was excited and wouldn't you know, I haven't had a bit of pain in my wrist (a several year old injury) since that day.
Praise the LORD God.
I love Yeshua!! He is my Salvation.
Definition of the word: Yeshua
H3444
ישׁוּעה
yeshû‛âh
yesh-oo'-aw
Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: - deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.
Amen... let it be so.

Imprisoned for being...
Praise the LORD!

There are actual people in our world who have been put in prison just for being a Christian.
Marzieh Amirizadeh Esmaeilabad and Maryam Rustampoor are two such people. These two ladies are in a prison in Ir_n. You can read more about them here: Prisoner Alert
There is a way to reach out to them! You can write letters and send the letter right to them! If you go to the Prisoner Alert website, you can find others to write to also.

Oh yah, that's right!
That's right! I did something that I never thought I would do. I bought a used vacuum from the Salvation Army for $10. Yah, I could have splurged to get a new one but I tripped over this beauty and it said, "Plug me in! I work great!" So I did and it did.
I've been carrying my mother in law's vacuum down the stairs for a year and a half.
I know that God is providing a home for us and I am going to need MY OWN vacuum! I am believing God! He will provide! I have faith in my Daddy in Heaven! (My dad on earth is pretty great too ;)
Praise God with me! He is gooooood!

Faith - Faith Like Potatoes
(If you don't want to watch the trailer, scroll down over the screen and push the pause button.)
We just got done watching "Faith Like Potatoes." My family
All in all, I did like the movie.
I know that God is growing my faith. He is showing me step by step, baby steps really, how to have faith and what it looks like. I'm not sure where He is going to take us but I know it will be good.
I believe God.
I believe that God has already blessed us. It is already done.
Thank you, LORD, for Your blessings upon our family and we give YOU all of our praise.

Our Worship
Our worship on Sunday should be a reflection of our worship all week.
If we don't worship Monday through Saturday, it will show on Sunday.
We can put on our "church mask" and pretend like we worshiped the Lord all week but HE knows the truth.
We often forget that HE knows the condition of our hearts.
We might fool everyone else, but we don't fool Him.
